About us
The AMA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit federation comprising over 30 Muslim-led organizations in Arizona.
As a central hub for information and services, we are dedicated to uniting, supporting, and representing Arizona's diverse Muslim community.
History:
Officially founded in 2016, the Arizona Muslim Alliance (AMA) was established when members of five major Arizona Islamic institutions saw the need for more unity as the Muslim population grew. Now, 8 years later, AMA acts as a Shura council or a federation of mosques and Muslim nonprofits across the state. It engages in activities that unify the community, bring strategic resources together, advocate for the rights and well-being of the community, and serve as the central hub for information on Muslim life in Arizona.
